Nice to see comments on Orissan Foods on the Orissablog.com.You are absolutely right in raising your point on Orissan food and identifying the gap.We Oriyas are very dormat in popularising our food habit and the processes involved in it.
Few years back,in Delhi there was hardly any Orissan Food point as such.Even in the Trade Fair the Orissa pavillion was flooded with Chinees and south Indian food items. When we ask the the authority in charge, they had little or no convincing answer for us.
The days are gone and recently,in Feb,06, I heard there was a festival on Orissa at Radisson Hotel where Dalema was invited to serve Orissan Food.
But thore are staying outside Orissa and India, information on Orissan Food is very much essential.I request the Blogsite members to send time tested recipe to the site.
Please find here www.odisha.com 24x7 news in oriya from Orissa and related to Oriya world wide
